Amit is the Managing Partner of the Firm’s Corporate and Non-Contentious Practice Group.

He has also built a formidable repertoire of work in the Corporate & Commercial laws, M&A, Private Equity, and Capital Markets. Projecting a deep understanding of the laws and regulations governing financial transactions, Amit is well regarded for innovative and progressive solutions to complex transactions in Corporate Laws, Exchange Control Regulations and Finance and Securities Laws. He periodically advises on work related to legal forensics, organizational restructuring, and offshore private client investments. He has not only advised several international investors on their India investment strategies, but also regularly advises Private Equity Funds and Family Offices on their entry, investment, and exit strategies in various sectors in India.
His work exhibits a special emphasis on innovative structured finance solutions on matters pertaining to all forms of debt transactions, project finance, acquisition finance, asset finance, structured trade finance, real estate financing, security creation, unlisted debt, private banking, and general banking products. Amit is actively engaged in the capital market, both in the equity and debt capital market spaces, and has been consistently recognized by several global publications for his work.
In addition to this, Amit has also contributed significantly to the legal literature in his field. He recently co-edited and revised the Tenth Edition of the book, Dishonour Of Cheques and Innovative Digital Frauds along with Mr. Rajesh Narain Gupta, Founder & Chairman at SNG & Partners, published by Lexis Nexis- Universal. Amit’s contribution to the book reflects his expertise and dedication to the legal profession, particularly in the area of banking and financial services.
